“DYNAMIK Sport Provide Social Distancing Protection For Students & Your Sports Floor”
In an educational and commercial environment DYNAMIK Giant Carpet Tiles are an obvious choice to aid Social Distancing.
Measuring 2m x 1m they offer a quick and easy way of keeping to the Government Guidelines.
DYNAMIK Sport are providing solutions to schools across the UK when faced with the dilemma of protecting both their students and their sports hall flooring.
DYNAMIK Giant Carpet Tiles are available in a variety of colours, are easy to install and offer a high level of protection for your floor, making them the ideal solution to ensure that the recommended 2m minimum distancing is achieved.

Safe distancing requirements have seen a need to convert existing sports halls into classrooms in order to provide students with the safe social distancing as per the latest Government guidelines.
Utilising the DYNAMIK Giant Protective Carpet Tiles, schools are able to position the 2m x 1m Giant Carpet Tiles which not only provide clear student safe zones within the large sports hall space but importantly, protect the sport hall playing surface from non-sporting shoes as well as offering indentation resistance from tables and chairs and an acoustic or visual environment similar to that seen in a typical classroom environment.

ASB GlassFloor by DYNAMIK takes centre court again! the state-of-the-art LED Glass Sports floor was recently installed by DYNAMIK at St. George’s Weybridge, an independent School on the outskirts of London. At 1.559 square metres, it is the ASB GlassFloor installed in the UK. Providing high levels of comfort, performance and durability, providing the perfect slip resistance for sport, this system really is a true multi-use, top performing, sprung A4 Area Elastic sports floor.
The ASB GlassFloor also exploits modern LED technology by positioning line markings under the glass surface, meaning a single court marking can be illuminated at a time. Alternatively a full LED sub structure can also be positioned under the glass surface to provide an incredible visual experience.
DYNAMIK are proud to be collaborators in the innovation of sports flooring technologies!

This week we were at Ken Stimpson Community School to complete a sand and reseal of their Dance Studio.
Wooden floors need to be sanded and resealed every 7-12 years depending on usage so that the old lacquer can be removed and a new lacquer applied, protecting the wood from dirt, grease or other substances.
Sanding and resealing your sports floor restores the lacquer in your surface, and assures the longevity and excellent performance of your wood floor.

Pupils at Brighton College are now experiencing a much-enhanced sporting and science environment thanks to DYNAMIK Sport. Their Walling & Flooring systems were installed within this £55 million state of the art, design lead facility. DYNAMIK High Impact Fire rated internal wall panels have been used throughout the school building, including the sports hall, activity rooms and corridors which highlight the true flexibility that can be achieved by utilising the DYNAMIK internal wall panel system.
The new building also features a DYNAMIK sprung oak engineered timber sports hall, MONDO indoor running track, activity and dance studios, free weights gym area as well as a rather funky canteen and student social area – all finished in DYNAMIK flooring. The project therefore required products that would be durable enough to withstand day to day impact and heavy multi-use activities both for sporting and non-sporting usage
DYNAMIK Walling and sports flooring products were chosen to be the best and preferred option. As well as supplying quality dedicated high-performance sports and gym products, McLaren also required DYNAMIK to provide in-house customer support and technical back-up from DYNAMIK’s sales, technical Services & Installation teams. Having worked together previously, the site team was confident that DYNAMIK was able to provide unrivalled on-site management support as well as ongoing product aftercare and maintenance assistance.

DYNAMIK products used on this project included our unique wall panel system offering superior durability, acoustic performance and excellent fire resistance properties with a quick and easy secret fix single boarded solution for clients on education and sports projects.
This week we are pleased to announce DYNAMIK’S recent floor renovation of Ashby St Legers Village Hall. We at DYNAMIK not only help maintain British sport but also pride ourselves on restoring and maintaining some of the UKs most historic village hall floors.
The charming village of Ashby St Ledgers, situated inside the south-west boundary of Northamptonshire, boasts some beautiful architecture, with thatched cottages and many buildings crafted in the local warm-toned ironstone.
At the heart of the village stands Ashby Manor, a beautiful Jacobean mansion that was home to the Catesby family for many years. The house is also famed for being a location for the planning of the Gunpowder plot in 1605. At the far end of the village from the church is a beautiful set of thatched cottages built by the celebrated architect Edwin Lutyens.
The social hub of the village though is the village hall, used by the local community for keep-fit circuit classes, weddings, birthdays, burns night celebrations, and summer events, making it a true community multi-use venue for all to use.
The floor was badly damaged, scratched, uneven and very dark due to the build-up of years of varnish and grime but now with the DYNAMIK restoration, sand and re-seal treatment, it looks fantastic and ready to last way into the future.

DYNAMIK maintenance and aftercare department are able to provide expert advice on all things flooring. Be it sports hall to village hall – DYNAMIK are here to help.
Black Prince Trust Case Study
This week we are pleased to announce DYNAMIK’s recent renovation of The Jordan Court floor and replacement of The Regal Court floor in South London.
The famous facilities, owned by The Black Prince Trust, are situated in The Black Prince Community Hub in Lambeth. The trust is a not-for-profit charity that works with other commercial and charitable organisations to offer sessions and sports programmes for the local community. The Regal & Jordan courts are dedicated, state-of-the-art indoor basketball courts that receive thousands of visitors each year and serve to encourage and facilitate players from beginners through to British Basketball League Athletes.
DYNAMIK is proud to be chosen to rejuvenate The Jordan Court floor and replace The Regal Court floor by The Black Prince Trust, who are supported by Nike, the NBA and Basketball England.
The Jordan Court
Repairs were carried out to the floor before completing a full sand, reseal and reline mark.
The new court lines also incorporate the Nike Jump Man Logo.

The Regal Court
The Regal Court underwent a larger renovation. As there were a few dead spots around the floor, the decision was made to replace it, and so we uplifted and disposed of the old solid timber surface.
High sports performance, durability and timber stability were key factors going forward, and for this reason we installed our DYNAMIK Flexi-beam Elite sprung floor finished in our 22mm Engineered Oak board.
The new court lines applied allowed for Black Borders and Key Infills emphasising the White Court Lines.
The addition of The Regal and Nike Logos completed the striking layout.

With the flooring works completed and new lines applied, the courts have a fresh look and will be open to the public once more in January 2020.
We are very pleased with the project and have thoroughly enjoyed working with The Black Prince Trust!

Dynamik’s New Acoustic Sports Wall

The system is designed to ensure you meet current design requirements as set out by Building Regulations (within Building Bulletin 93) and Sport England with regard to sound absorption for both new and refurbishment projects.
Unlike previous products our system has been designed specifically for busy sports halls, therefore not only can it withstand the impact of cricket and hockey balls but it also creates a comfortable teaching environment.
The panels run from floor to ceiling and are available in wood effect finishes or in any RAL colour. For this reason not only is the Dynamik Acoustic Walling aesthetically pleasing but we also believe that it presents a cost savings compared to traditional internal wall construction methods.
The Dynamik Acoustic Sports Wall has already been specified for a number of highly regarded projects and we would be more than happy to assist with specifying it for yours by providing NBS specifications or BIM objects, which can be found here.
