Eco-cradle WB Pack & Level Subfloor System

ECO-TEK, in partnership with Sports Build Australia, has developed an innovative cradle pack and level floor system purpose-built for World Bowls competition.

This project required the creation of a fully detachable rink capable of being levelled to an accuracy of +/- 1mm, a precision that is essential in the sport of bowls. Players must have complete confidence in the consistency and reliability of the playing surface, ensuring that every delivered bowl performs in a predictable and uniform manner. Such accuracy allows player skill to determine the outcome, which is vital at the professional level.

ECO-TEK and Sports Build Australia have engineered specialised rubber cradles and precision packing shims to achieve this world-class performance standard. The result is a competition rink that meets the highest international benchmarks.

Now officially approved by World Bowls, this innovative floor system is set to play a key role in attracting new competitors and expanding international participation in the sport. The World Bowls governing body and competitors were highly impressed with the performance of the system, which was supplied and installed for the 2025 World Cup in Malaysia.
