DYNAMIK Sport attended the official opening of Hartpury Sports Academy by Dame Katherine Grainger DBE, Britain’s most successful female rower and the only female athlete – in any sport – to gain medals in four consecutive Olympic Games.

As part of DYNAMIK Sport’s ongoing commitment to Basketball at all levels, Craig Jack met with some of the team at Inspire Youth Zone in Bolton to donate basketballs for use by Inspire’s members.

Inspire Youth Zone has gained interest from HRH Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and other high profile supporters who realise the importance of giving young people somewhere safe to spend their leisure time. The ethos of each Youth Zone is to provide all local young people aged up to 25 affordable access to high-quality sports, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Amelia Hanson, Communications Coordinator for OnSide Youth Zones said, “Sport is a huge part of our offer here at Inspire Youth Zone, the sports hall is used from the moment we open our doors until the moment we close. Thank you to DYNAMIK for donating basketballs, as one of our favourite sports – we know they will be put to great use by our members!”

Closer to home near the DYNAMIK Head Office, Avonmouth C of E Primary School were delighted with their donated basketballs for the school children. They commented:

“Great to see children playing ball games at lunchtimes – these will be put to good use by all our budding basketball players.”

DYNAMIK has listened to the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and developed a new range of sprung, comfort-based systems that rely on solid playing surfaces rather than a soft, spongy foam-backed surface.

Solid synthetic playing surfaces provide users with a surface that combines top levels of sports performance, plus the ability to provide schools with high levels of indentation and damage resistance, withstanding the daily rigors of a typical school sport and activity area.

DYNAMIK is the Official Technical Partner to British Wheelchair Basketball as well as supporting community sport throughout the UK. DYNAMIK has listened to player and national governing body feedback, finding overwhelmingly the opinion of wheelchair users, especially basketball and badminton, would be to support the ESFA’s specification in using A3 or A4 sprung systems only.

The former Brierfield Mill offering state of the art sporting and educational facilities for Burnley, Pendle and the surrounding areas is now open to the public.

The Leisure Box is the collaborative effort of many different parties. Now this new facility will help the many facets of the community and has been partially funded by Burnley Football Club and grants from funding bodies including Sport England.

DYNAMIK worked with Barnfield Construction to create the sports facilities including a four court Sports Hall installed with our DYNAMIK area elastic sprung sports floor finished with Tarkett Veneto Sport Linoleum, an ideal surface for sporting and community use. The official opening of the new training hall by Paralympics GB Chef de Mission for Tokyo 2020, Penny Briscoe OBE, took place at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

The British Para Table Tennis Team’s journey to Tokyo starts with the transformation of their training hall designed to inspire the athletes as they begin the process of qualification for 2020.

The event included a demonstration of the different classifications in Para Table Tennis, both wheelchair and standing athletes from the BPTT Performance Squad including reigning Paralympic champions Will Bayley and Rob Davies, and World and Commonwealth champion Ross Wilson, as well as Performance Director, Gorazd Vecko and Head Coach, Greg Baker.

The English Institute of Sport is another prestigious sporting arena that DYNAMIK has installed their  their Sprung system finished in a Tarkett Omnisport Vinyl playing surface.

Barking Abbey Netball Academy is supported by England Netball, one of DYNAMIK Sport’s partners, offering a performance pathway to international level netball.
