FACEGYM Richmond is a facial fitness studio that opened in June
2026 as part of the brand’s UK franchise expansion, bringing its
signature “facial workout” concept to a new London location.
FACEGYM needed a cost-effective, durable rubber floor that would
create an authentic fitness-gym ambience in line with their branding.
The flooring had to be easy to clean, deliver a seamless finish, and
provide a surface that could be overlaid with graphics. Anti-fatigue
properties were also important, ensuring comfort underfoot for both
staff and customers throughout the day.
Sheet rubber flooring typically requires extensive subfloor
preparation and high-strength adhesive to bond it in place – an
approach that is both costly and far from eco-friendly. For retail and
fitness environments in particular, the most effective flooring systems
are adhesive-free, allowing for easy maintenance and fast installation
with minimal downtime.
Zone-Flex provided the ideal answer. These interlocking tiles use a
precise, high-quality locking system that creates a near seamless floor
without bevelled edges. Because the tiles are loose-laid rather than
adhered to the subfloor, individual tiles can be lifted and replaced for
maintenance with ease, and no adhesive is required for installation.
Zone-Flex tiles enabled FACEGYM to create vibrant, clearly defined
zones throughout their retail space, giving the studio a sporty,
dynamic look that enhances the overall customer experience.
