Free Weights Area
This project required a high-performance acoustic flooring solution, as the gym was located on the first floor and the client needed to minimise impact noise transferring through the building structure. The selected solution was ECO-TEK’s GT40 system: 40 mm rubber tiles specifically engineered to withstand the repeated impacts associated with free-weights training. The GT40 provides a highly durable flooring surface while delivering excellent acoustic isolation, significantly reducing low-frequency noise generated by fitness equipment and dropped weights from transmitting into the structure below
